First off, I have to say, the Fisher-Price Papasan Cradle Swing is my personal favorite baby product. For my baby and her "active lifestyle", this swing has been a God-send. If you are in the market for a cradle swing, I recommend you stop looking because you have found the swing that does it all. Setup Is A Breeze
Before getting into the benefits of this cradle swing for my baby, I thought it might be good to highlight the benefits for the parent first! When my new Fisher-Price Papasan Cradle Swing was shipped to me, it was only a matter of minutes (15 to be exact) before I had the cradle swing put together and ready to go. Keep in mind there are some very small pieces that need to be kept out of baby's reach during setup.
When you are ready to put the cradle swing away, the legs fold inward allowing for compact storage.
Comfort And Joy
The Fisher-Price Starlight Papasan Cradle Swing is the epitome of comfort for your baby. The padding on the seat and head support areas is cushy and cozy. My baby loved how soft and comfortable it was to sit in, sometimes I found it difficult to get her out of it! The seat area seems to be slightly over-sized as well, giving plenty of room for all baby shapes and sizes.My daughter had breathing issues after she was born and being able to sleep in an upright position was perfect. Before I purchased the swing, many night my baby was awake at all hours coughing and restless.
The music choices are fantastic. There are 8 different tunes for her awake time when she is active. There are 8 beautiful lullabies that are perfect for when she is going to sleep. I particularly loved the soothing lullabies - something about a happy, sleeping baby that makes me smile. Along with the delightful musical excerpts, the Starlight Papasan Cradle Swing provides a visual show for baby as stars float around overhead. There are days when I wish it was big enough for me to enjoy!
With two different swinging motions (front to back and side to side), and eight different swing speeds, you will find a setting that will be perfect for your little one.
Save Money - Plugged In
If you are money conscious like me, you will be able to appreciated that Fisher-Price gives you the option to run off batteries or use the AC adaptor to plug it into the wall. This saves a ton on battery purchases. It is the best of both worlds - when I am not near a plug in, the battery option works great.
